Experiment at JEEP -Diamond Light Source

The group recently spent 3 days at the JEEP beamline, Diamond Light Source. Yi Xiong, and Christopher Megazzini worked hard, guided by Phani Karamched, to get samples ready in time for these experiments. We were joined at JEEP by David Collins (now at Birmingham), and Chi-Toan Nguyen (Manchester) who brought knowledge of the ETMT equipment. As ever support at JEEP was excellent - our thanks to Robert Attwood and Stefan Michalik. The team successfully ran a series of in situ stress relaxation tests on Ti alloys - data analysis is now underway...
