 2016-2021 DPhil Researcher
Daniel enrolled on the Fusion CDT, and worked within the modelling team in OMG. His project continued development of discrete dislocation plasticity simulations with the particular aim of extending present capabilities from simple single phase, single crystal models towards more complex and realistic geometries representative of real engineering alloys.  He made significant contributions to the matlab-based easyDD code (and dragged us towards using github).
He moved onto a computational scientist role with STFC.
