Hanqing joined the OMG at the start of 2023 to work as part of the fatigue team with Jicheng Gong. Before that he had completed a prestigious JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship at Kyushu University. He has worked on crack initiation problems in fatigue and corrosion conditions and has expertise in a number of characterisation techniques including EBSD and TKD. |
