2022-2023 Part II Research Student
Magnus joined the OMG for her part II final year research project. He is working on crystallographic defects in SiC generated by irradiation damage. The aim is to use DFT calculations of electronic structures related to specific defects to enable the use of electron energy loss spectroscopy in characterising radiation damage experimentally.
