2022-2023 Part II Research Student
Martha joined the OMG for her part II final year research project. She is working on liquid lithium corrosion of materials for use in tritium breeder blankets for nuclear fusion power plants. For sustainable nuclear fusion transmutation of lithium to produce the tritium fuel is need. Developing a material system that resists liquid lithium corrosion is a key challenge for delivering fusion power.
Martha is now a Asset Management Graduate at UBS
